Salou November 3rd Part 2

Well the sun stayed out, in fact it got to about 23 degrees this afternoon so decided to have a bike ride.
Should have put the shorts on, i was sweating after about five minutes.

Anyway, peddled down to the sea front up to the Espigó del mol, clear blue skies and calm sea, empty beaches apart from the odd die hard sunbather.
Peddled along the promenade (very easy at this time in Salou as there are not many people to dodge).
La Sal and La Barca were busy but apart from them the rest are just ticking over.
Went along the new walkway that connects Capellans beach to the rest of the promenade, peddled up the hill and down to the Shamrock for a bottle of local brew (Estrella).
Perfect way to end another lovely day in Salou

Salou - The perfect day out.

Plenty of things to do in Salou while the sun is shining. Have a wander down to Levante beach, hire a sun lounger from one of the many Chiringuitos along the beach. I prefer to visit Chiringuito Leon where you always get a friendly smile and welcome, with the added bonus that from there you can see and hear the nutty antics of Dany the mentalist prop from La Sal.

After a couple of beers or coffee's at the Chiringuito, take a stroll down to windy piont (the end of the promenade near the steps) stop on the way and have a chat with John, the prop at Los Chicos (always has a tale for you) then arrive at the Rinconcito del Mar where they provide the best Sangria in Salou, along with the super friendly hospitality of the owners Manel, Sole and Maria you can sit and chill, and wait for the most beautiful sunset, from the best view point in Salou.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
