Salou and Cambrils house prices and rental costs one of the highest in Catalunya

The figures in the report submitted by the fotocasa.es real estate portal, one of the most important market are clear. Cambrils, an increase of 4.9% over last April, was the Catalan population in which more increased the price of rented housing. Salou, with 2.7%, was the second. The two municipalities of the Costa Daurada are followed Sant Boi, Cornell and Calafell, in the latter case, an increase of 1.9%.
Figures contrast with the general trend Catalunya lives in recent months. The same report notes that in one year, in Catalonia there has been a decrease of 7%, and Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Gava and Lloret de Mar, among others, the municipalities that experienced the greatest decline in April.
Barcelona remains the most expensive on the average price of rental housing, to 12.92 euros per square meter, followed by Castelldefels. At the opposite extreme is Reus, with an average price of 6.67 euros per square meter.
In high season
It is expected that in the coming months, coinciding with the peak tourist season, the price of rent in the Costa Daurada continue to grow. Nevertheless, both Cambrils, as Salou, have significant surplus of rental housing, which draws attention in light of this growth. The car also has become one of the formulas currently used by owners unable to sell their homes.
According to data provided by the Departament de Medi Ambient i Habitge of the Generalitat of Catalonia, between 2008 and 2009, Tarragona was the city that grew most rental contracts, doubling in number. In the case of Cambrils, went from 483 to 593 contracts on the same date. The trend showed a decrease in the average rental price, which stood at the Camp de Tarragona, around 698 euros, in 2009, almost twelve per cent less than in 2008, returning data to contrast with the growth has occurred in the heart of the Costa Daurada.
Reports produced by the Generalitat, or even the IESE fotocasa.es also reveal another reality, the increase in the number of evictions for nonpayment.
This grave situation is precisely that causes a significant number of non-inhabited dwellings on the market, due to fear of their owners, include the same studies.

SALOU - CAMBRILS NIT DEL FOC

Just down the coast from Salou is the town of Cambrils
One of its best and most treasured attractions, Cambrils fine golden sand beaches extend for 9 kilometres -the perfect place to enjoy the marvellous Mediterranean climate.

Cambrils beaches are top quality, as the blue flags they've been awarded by the European Union show, and gentle slopes make them very safe for the little ones.

What's more, skirting the beach is the Passeig Marítim, the seaside promenade, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of Cambrils coast on foot, or by bike on the cycle path.

On the 5th September Cambrils has the "Nit Del Foc" (Night of Fire) an amazing spectacle similar to the one recently in Salou.
