SALOU - CAMBRILS NIT DEL FOC

Just down the coast from Salou is the town of Cambrils
One of its best and most treasured attractions, Cambrils fine golden sand beaches extend for 9 kilometres -the perfect place to enjoy the marvellous Mediterranean climate.

Cambrils beaches are top quality, as the blue flags they've been awarded by the European Union show, and gentle slopes make them very safe for the little ones.

What's more, skirting the beach is the Passeig Marítim, the seaside promenade, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of Cambrils coast on foot, or by bike on the cycle path.

On the 5th September Cambrils has the "Nit Del Foc" (Night of Fire) an amazing spectacle similar to the one recently in Salou.

WHATS ON IN SALOU

Salou has two great events in one evening coming up. On Saturday 22nd August at 8 pm there'll be "Sardanas" the traditional Catalan folk dance close to the Sports Port.

After that, walk just 500 metres to the Plaça Venus (Camping Sanguli area) and hear the "Habaneres" Cuban style folk singing, starting at 10pm.

This is repeated on the following Saturday 29th and the Sardanas only on the day of the Diada de Catlunya (public Hoiday) on the 11th September.

There will also be street shows on the "Paseo" near to the statue/bis station on the 30th August, 13th, 20th and 27th September.
